Chippendale serpentine chest circa 1750-80 with ball and claw feet made from pear, mahogany stained and French polished. The draws have dovetail joints, hand made brass handles, imitation locks with a key and panel bottoms.
For the first time I have made dust panels. Dust panels are panels between each draw, originally made to protect the contents from dust or soot ( most rooms had open fires ). Once the draw was locked it prevents access to the contents by removing an unlocked upper draw.
